Hottmann sehen wir eine animierte m\u00e4nnliche Figur im Wechselspiel mit einem humanoiden Roboter. Der K\u00fcnstler hinterfragt mit <em>Man And Machine<\/em> traditionelle Ideale von M\u00e4nnlichkeit. Noch immer gilt der vernunftgeleitete Mann, der die eigenen Gef\u00fchle kontrolliert und stark, ausdauernd sowie unbeirrbar ist, vielen als Ideal. Ein Ideal, das sich passgenau in ein neoliberales Weltbild einfindet. W\u00e4re also der Humanoide, wie wir ihn aus Filmen wie Terminator kennen, der bessere Mann und Homo Oeconomicus? Oder zeigt uns Hottmann vielmehr, wie \u00fcberholt diese Ideale sind?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Headline1\">Fernab stereotyper Geschlechterklischees sind es Empathie, F\u00fcrsorge und Gemeinschaft, die unser Zusammenleben ausmachen, und uns verletzlich und empfindsam machen. In dieser Bef\u00e4higung zur Empfindsamkeit liegt der vielleicht wesentlichste Unterschied zwischen Roboter und Mensch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Headline1\">Mit <em>Man And Machine<\/em> spannt Hottmann eine Erz\u00e4hlung um dieses Themenfeld und fragt gleichzeitig nach einem belastbaren, zeitgem\u00e4\u00dfen und fortschrittlichen Geschlechterverst\u00e4ndnis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ausstellungsort:&nbsp;<\/strong><b>K\u00fcnstlerverein Walkm\u00fchle<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"Headline1\">_____<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"Headline1\"><strong>Jan Hottmann,<\/strong> geboren 1986, studierte Bildende Kunst an der ABK Stuttgart. 2024 schloss er sein Studium als Meistersch\u00fcler im Weissenhof-Programm ab. F\u00fcr ihn ist Fotografie ein Medium, das die Welt nicht nur beschreibt, sondern darauf aufbauend eine eigene Wirklichkeit konstruiert. Hottmanns Arbeiten wurden in zahlreichen Ausstellungen gezeigt, etwa im Museum f\u00fcr Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg und in der Villa Merkel in Esslingen.
