Doch was ist Unruhe eigentlich? Unruhe, das ist ein Zustand der Erregung, der vielf\u00e4ltig deutbar ist. Unruhe bedeutet Bewegung, Aktivit\u00e4t gegen Stillstand und Eint\u00f6nigkeit. Sie f\u00fchrt zu neuen Gedanken, zu politischen Handlungen und l\u00e4sst Visionen m\u00f6glich werden. In \u00bbunruhigen Zeiten\u00ab werden Menschen oft von \u00c4ngsten beherrscht, in \u00bbunruhigen Zeiten\u00ab wird nicht selten rebelliert, in \u00bbunruhigen Zeiten\u00ab kann sich Kreativit\u00e4t entfalten. Die Welt ver\u00e4ndert sich \u2013 positiv oder negativ, oft auch \u00fcberraschend.<\/p>\n<p>Der Begriff der Unruhe ist dialektisch, wir empfinden ihn ganz gegens\u00e4tzlich. Unruhe kann ein Motor kreativen Schaffens werden, wirkt aber auch beunruhigend und \u00fcberfordernd. Umso wichtiger werden dann Freundschaft, Partnerschaft, Gemeinschaft, die Natur, die Philosophie, die Liebe zu Kunst und Kultur. Auch die Kunst definiert sich neu in unruhigen Zeiten. Sie stellt Fragen. Neu, anders, fordernd.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bbUnruhige Zeiten\u00ab sind Wendezeiten. Der Wunsch nach Orientierung ist gro\u00df. Grundfragen des Lebens werden neu gestellt, die Menschen sucht einen Kompass, suchen nach Halt. Philosophen konstatieren eine \u00bbUnruhe der Welt\u00ab \u2013 das schon seit vielen Jahren.<\/p>\n<p>Aber kommt die unruhige Welt noch einmal zur Ruhe? Oder sind das Getrieben-Sein, die Rastlosigkeit, der Burn-out in digitalen Welten zum Normalzustand geworden? Auch in diese Richtung kann man das Thema der Wiesbadener Fototage 2022 interpretieren.<\/p>\n<p>Wir fragen: Welche Rolle kann das \u00bbstille Bild\u00ab, die Fotografie, in unruhigen Zeiten spielen? Ist sie mehr als ein eingefrorener Moment, ist sie doch ein bewegtes Medium? Ist sie Zeuge? Oder h\u00e4lt sie dagegen \u2013 bringt Ruhe ins Spiel? Wo Unruhe ist, da muss auch Ruhe und Entschleunigung sein.
