denen sich der Klimawandel nur subtil bemerkbar macht, sind die Folgen in Bangladesch besonders unbarmherzig. Die K\u00fcstengemeinden sind den sich versch\u00e4rfenden Wirbelst\u00fcrmen, Sturmfluten und dem steigenden Meeresspiegel schutzlos ausgeliefert. Der zunehmende Salzgehalt vergiftet die S\u00fc\u00dfwasserquellen und bringt extreme Gesundheitskrisen mit sich. Der Verlust von Ackerland und schwindende Fischbest\u00e4nde f\u00fchren zu einer verst\u00e4rkten Ern\u00e4hrungsunsicherheit und zum Anstieg der Klima-Migration in die St\u00e4dte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>The Blue Fig<\/em> erforscht mit sehr intimen und visuell fesselnden Bildern die Folgen der Umweltzerst\u00f6rung. Aber die Fotografien zeigen nicht nur die Zerst\u00f6rungen, sondern auch die Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit und den stillen Trotz der Menschen, die am Rande der Katastrophe leben. <em>The Blue Fig<\/em> ist somit ein Zeugnis des \u00dcberlebens. Diese Bilder unterstreichen die Dringlichkeit globaler Klimama\u00dfnahmen und ehren gleichzeitig den unbeirrbaren Geist derjenigen, die sich weigern, zu kapitulieren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ausstellungsort: Kunsthaus Wiesbaden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">_____<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mohammad Rakibul Hasan<\/strong> ist Dokumentarfotograf, Filmemacher, bildender K\u00fcnstler und Kunstp\u00e4dagoge aus Dhaka, Bangladesch. In seiner Arbeit besch\u00e4ftigt er sich mit Menschenrechten, sozialer Entwicklung, Politik, Umwelt und Spiritualit\u00e4t. Hasan arbeitet als visueller Journalist f\u00fcr ZUMA Press, Redux Pictures, Inter Press Service und Thomson Reuters Foundation.
