This photographic work deals with modern energy sources and their impact on nature.Inspired by Richard Mosse’s infrared documentary about the civil war in the Congo, pink color is also used here,which makes the influence of human activity very clear.This is because the discoloration occurs precisely where there are still plants and trees.The more chlorophyll (green leaf pigment) they contain, the more they reflect infrared radiation. Similar to “Infra”, “Zukunft Pink” also highlights or metaphorically reveals the less visible through photography. The supposedly beautiful is transformed into a warning.
